Michelle Underwood is an Art Director who has worked in some of Chicago’s largest advertising agencies for many nationally recognized brands. She is a founding member of Mortar Theatre Company, for which she serves as Marketing Director and Designer. Originally from Arkansas, Michelle attended the University of Central Arkansas and graduated summa cum laude with a BFA in Fine Arts, Graphic Design. In 2010, because of her professional work in new media and her devotion to socially conscious art, she was selected to attend the inaugural session of One Young World in London, UK, the global youth leadership summit. She was recently invited back to her alma mater as a featured speaker at the College of Fine Arts and Communications Distinguished Graduates Celebration.
