2010 Season
Mortar Theatre Company premiered our inaugural season in June 2010 with Inherit the Whole by Dana Lynn Formby. Our second show followed in September, Under America by Jacob Juntunen. Click a poster above for more info, photos and video from the shows.
Steppenwolf Explore Series
Mortar Theatre performed at Steppenwolf’s Explore the World of Detroit event in November 2010. Mortar Company members and Artistic Associates created an original performance piece set to the music of Arcade Fire.
2009: A Vet Art Event
Mortar Theatre performed two original short plays on Veterans Day
in conjunction with the Vet Art Project.
